Booking conditions: Credit card details or a deposit equivalent to 50% of stay will secure your booking.

Cancellation Policy: 14 days notice is required during busy shows on at the National Exhibition Centre, normal working week will be 3 days notice. Otherwise a full cancellation charge will be incurred if we are unable to re-let the room or rooms.

Check in: Check in time 5pm onwards. Rooms should be vacated by 10.00 am. Nevertheless we would be very happy to look after your luggage.

Please Note: No-Smoking Law It is illegal to smoke in or near Blythewood Guest House, and a cleaning charge of £100 will be made to any person found to have smoked in their bedroom.

Maxtoke Golf Club

Maxstoke Park sits in just over 100 acres of beautiful rolling Warwickshire countryside to the east of Birmingham. The course provides an excellent test of golf and is the chosen venue for regular matches at County and Midland level.

Set in the extensive grounds of the magnificent medieval moated Maxstoke Castle, means that you’ll enjoy the scenery just as much as the golf. Dating from 1345, the castle has been owned and occupied by the Fetherston-Dilke family for over 400 years. The present occupier, Michael, is the club President.

Sutton Coldfield Golf Club

Is one of the most prestigious private members clubs in the Midlands. It was founded in 1889 and two years later moved to the present location within Sutton Park. The Park is one of our country’s Recognised Historic Parks and Gardens and also has National Nature Reserve status. The land was given to the people of Sutton Coldfield by King Henry VIII in 1528 following a request from Bishop Vesey, who was both a local man and friend of the King. The park is currently managed by Birmingham Council following the Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield’s annexation in 1974 with the demise of the West Midlands as a unitary authority.

The nature of the heathland makes this course one of the best, if not the best, all year free draining course within a radius of 50 miles. Ideal for Winter playing and perfect for a challenging Summer game.

Our small friendly Hotel / Bed and Breakfast in a semi-rural location, close to the National Exhibition Centre NEC, near to Solihull and on the doorstep of Birmingham, Coventry and even Tamworth, Sutton Coldfield and Nuneaton. What esle can a hotel offer the traveller, whether on business or leisure. So if you are in Birmingham for a Conference, in Coventry for a training course or staying over night whilst visiting the West Midlands for an exhibition or for a show at one of several major theatres or Music Concerts at the NEC Arena or National Indoor Arena NIA.
